Veridex Sourcing helps Korean buyers discover selected Made in Italy artisans and small producers — and helps Italian makers understand whether their products have real potential in the Korean market.
What we do
We focus exclusively on the Italy–Korea sourcing corridor. For Korean buyers, we research and evaluate Italian artisan candidates against their product, price, quantity, and import needs — then deliver a curated shortlist with fit scores, risk notes, and contact details. For Italian artisans, we assess whether a specific product is realistically positioned for the Korean market and what needs to change before approaching Korean buyers.
Why Italy and Korea
Korean consumers — particularly in the premium retail and concept store segment — have a strong and growing appetite for Made in Italy goods. Korean buyers often struggle to find authentic Italian artisans beyond mass-market brands, while Italian makers rarely have the tools, contacts, or market intelligence to approach Korean buyers effectively.
This gap is what Veridex Sourcing exists to close. Not with a marketplace or a directory, but with structured, request-specific research that takes both sides seriously.
Who is behind Veridex Sourcing
Veridex Sourcing is currently operated as a lean sourcing intelligence project by Gio / Ion, based between South Korea and Europe.
We are a small and honest operation. We do not claim a database of hundreds of pre-approved suppliers or buyers. Each report is researched specifically for the submitted request.
How we work
Request submitted
You submit a request through the form — either as a Korean buyer looking for Italian suppliers, or as an Italian artisan submitting a product for Korea market fit review.
Research and evaluation
We use AI-assisted research combined with human review to identify and evaluate candidates. For buyers: Italian producers matched to your product, price, and import criteria. For artisans: your product assessed against Korean buyer preferences, import requirements, and market positioning.
Structured output delivered
You receive a focused report within 48 hours — a curated Italian supplier shortlist for buyers, or a Korea Market Fit Check for artisans — with clear next steps.
What Veridex Sourcing does not guarantee
We provide research and structured intelligence. We do not control suppliers, buyers, pricing, availability, import regulations, or commercial outcomes. Specifically, Veridex Sourcing does not guarantee:
- —Supplier acceptance or willingness to work with the buyer
- —Korean buyer interest in a submitted artisan product
- —Final pricing or price stability
- —Import approval, customs clearance, or regulatory compliance
- —Successful contract closing or negotiation outcome
- —That every category requested will be within current sourcing coverage
- —Payment safety unless specifically reviewed
- —Delivery performance or lead time accuracy
Reports reduce search time and improve decision quality. They are not a substitute for the buyer's own due diligence before placing orders or making payments.
